For those of you curious about our company name Digishire, it's simply a condensed one word version of Digital Shire. We wanted a one word net identity that conveyed a message that was both web and geography centric, as we own an extensive city geo domain portfolio that once developed will make up the bulk of our network. Outside of the practical meaning built into the name choice, I'm also not afraid to admit that I'm a huge fan of Lord of the Rings. Who wouldn't want to hang out in the Hobbit Shire, right?
For those of you that are not familiar with our content network, allow me to walk you through it in it's entirety. To begin, it should first be noted that links to our web properties can be found in the left navigation bar located on every page. The links are segregated by category, which should make it easier for you to locate a particular subject matter of interest. Once clicked, you will then be forwarded to that specific website. Most of our sites do share a common navigational structure, making them very easy to browse.
The majority of the websites that we currently manage and maintain, are food and beverage related recipe databases. We have sites that can help instruct you how to make fresh carrot juice, spinach juice, or pineapple juice. We have baking themed recipe databases, such as our apple pie and peach cobbler websites. We have websites that cater towards meat lovers, such as our steak marinade recipe database. If you crave something a bit off the beaten path, we even have a website dedicated to recipes made with watermelon rind.
Apart from recipe themed databases, one of the oldest websites within our network, which is Titan Icons, offers a variety of graphic design services. The website has an extensive ecommerce catalogue of flag icons, flag favicons, and various other digital web graphics. These unique graphics can be used in web design projects, presentations, and various other on and offline media formats. The site also offers a growing number of logos and uncoded website templates. Be sure and check out the site for more details.
If you have an interest in Celtic culture, then you'll be happy to know that we operate two Celtic themed websites. Our Gaelic portal focuses on the three Goidelic languages, those being Irish, Manx, and Scottish Gaelic. The site features a growing dictionary database, along with hundreds of articles and facts related to the Gaels and Celtic life. It also dabbles in Irish, Scottish, and Manx culture, sports, news, and history. Our second Celtic site is an Enya website, which is a multilingual platform dedicated to the renown Irish singer.
Moving right along, another exciting facet of our growing web property list, is our Poland travel network. As some of you might have read already, we have a second international office located in the city of Krakow, Poland. Our extensive deep relationship with the country has provided an excellent platform and opportunity to promote various aspects of it to our international visitor base. Thus far we operate two city portals, one focused on the large port city of Gdynia, and the other focused on the equally fascinating city of Kwidzyn.
Last but not least, we also own and operate a small theology themed website, which is called Seraphim. The site is a growing angel encyclopedia, which explores the intriguing world of the Christian, Judaic, and Islamic angelic hierarchies. Our goal for the website is to present an academic and research leaning content base, so that the site can be enjoyed and used by all our visitors, regardless of individual religious affiliations. Naturally the site also heavily explores the Seraphim rank of angels, with it serving as a focal point.
At Digishire, we are always acquiring new domain names. If you have a generic domain name for sale that you feel would interest us, then please feel free to send us an email. As a general rule we do not open email based attachments from unfamiliar email sources, so please include the domain name and asking price in the email body itself. If the domain and asking price are attractive, then we will contact you about finalizing the purchase. When purchasing a domain, we usually use Escrow or PayPal to complete the transaction.
With regard to the specific domain TLDs that we are interested in acquiring, we are open to considering any domain extensions that are reasonably priced. What interests us the most however, are any domains ending in .com, .net, .org, and .pl. Of particular interest, are any European or Polish city domains ending in .com. We also regularly purchase strong keyword based food or beverage related domains in .com, .net, and .org. We purchase both whole portfolios, as well as individual domain names.
As we receive quite a large volume of inquiries from domain sellers, unfortunately we only have time to address the offers that are attractive. Outside of the price and domain name quality itself, it is also important that the domain meet certain security requirements. We are reluctant to purchase domains from sellers that contact us anonymously using a free email host, and provide little transparency. If you are brokering the offered domain for a third party, then please be prepared to prove that you are an authorized broker.
